Department Releases Online Locator for Treatment Sites Offering Monoclonal Antibody Therapeutics for COVID-19

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced it has a developed a web-based locator for COVID-19 outpatient treatment sites offering monoclonal antibody therapeutics. HHS states it is making this locator service available to support health care providers and patients in identifying where such therapies are delivered, which have been authorized for emergency use to treat COVID-19 patients at a high-risk of developing severe symptoms.

The department further notes that states and territorial health departments must opt in to have information on where their treatment facilities are located included in the web-based tool. Upon launch, 22 states and territorial health departments have opted in. The department is urging all states and territories to participates, it adds.
