Summary
On Wednesday, April 25, 2018, the House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Health convened for a markup of 63 bills, most of which were previously considered in a series of three hearings looking at legislative solutions to the opioid epidemic. The attached chart provides a brief description of each with a record of how the subcommittee voted at the markup.The chart also links to all bill and amendment texts, and provides information on co-sponsorships as of 4/25/18. In all, 56 bills were advanced to the full committee – 34 by voice vote, 13 en bloc, and nine by individual role call votes. Seven bills did not receive a vote at all.
